Linebreak is a weekly journal with a bias for good poetry. We accept submissions throughout the year. Please browse through our archives to familiarize yourself with our journal before submitting.

Most recently, we're also seeking submissions of essays and interviews for our newly established prose section. Essay topics should be at least tangentially related to poetry, but we define that very broadly. (If a poet wrote the essay, it probably qualifies as tangentially related to poetry.)

We respond within 30 days to most submissions. If you haven't heard from us within 45 days, feel free to query.

Simultaneous submissions are welcome, but please withdraw your submission immediately if you're fortunate enough to have it accepted elsewhere.

Accepted work is published and archived on our web site indefinitely.

Only submissions sent through our online submissions manager are accepted. Email and snail mail submissions are destroyed unread.
